Congo’s Motema Pembe players warned against witchcraft ahead of their clash with Gor Mahia

Congo’s Daring Club Motema Pembe President Vidiye Tshimenga has cautioned his players from engaging in witchcraft activities ahead of sunday’s Caf Confederation Cup play-offs, with the legendary Gor Mahia at Kasarani National Stadium. Congolese Daily Newspaper reports Tshimenga has fired individuals that he believes have allegedly been practicing witchcraft.

During their previous visit, Motema Pembe demolished a star-studded Kenya Breweries (now called Tusker FC) 5-2 in the final of the 1994 CAF Winners Cup.

The Congolese players are set to touch down at JKIA on Friday, but are currently in Rwanda for a 3-day camp training ahead of Sunday’s awaited game at Kasarani.
